THE MOST LARGEST CRYSTAL CHANDELIER IN EUROPE
Hotel Gate One boasts a number of specific details. One is the largest crystal chandelier in Europe, located in the foyer. It consists of more than 140 thousand crystals and about 20 people have installed it permanently for more than a month.

We offer conference rooms with the largest capacity and the highest ceilings among Bratislava hotels. Hall size XXL offers advanced technology for business events, conferences, congresses and the large space gives the opportunity to hold the great social events, balls and parties. The hall of XXL size may be divided into six separate areas with different variants of combinations of each area or seating arrangements.
THE MOST OLDEST PART OF THE TRUNK OF TREE IN THE WORLD
We had put an attractive feature in the premises of the restaurant. There is a part of the trunk of one of the oldest trees in the world in a glass fitted. It is a type of wood called Swamp Kauri from New Zealand. Old wood maintained its quality despite the fact that it was buried for thousands of years in soil silt and mud where it had been perfectly preserved for nearly 50 thousand years. Tree Kauri is considered a conifer although it has no needles. Shape and color of leaves varies depending on the age of the tree. Kauri was one of the hugest trees in the world. It is marked by huge trunk (16 meters) from the roots to the crown without changing its shape. Its height reaches over50meters. Cutouts of the trunk placed in the glass at the entrance to the restaurant are about 47 thousand years old.
